Sierrezuela

La Sierrezuela is a popular, Secure urbanisation, between Mijas and Fuengirola. It is a well maintained area, and includes many large, typically Andalucian style villas. Torreblanca

Torreblanca, like the rest of Fuengirola, is served by it´s own train station, with services running every 20 mins directly to Málaga via the airport between 05:30 and 23:40. The area has everything a holidaymaker looks for, including several grocery shops, a fantastic beach, and several popular bars and restaurants.

As you head upwards, you will find some very beautiful, traditional villas, with large gardens. The area has maintained it´s intrinsic Andalucian country style, and is still a very popular destination for a family holiday, or peaceful residence in the sun.

Paseo Maritimo

Fuengirola´s Paseo Maritimo stretches 7km from East to West. It´s particularly popular for walkers, because it is completely flat throughout. There are several popular beaches, with popular ´Chiringuitos´ serving traditional Spanish fried fish. There are also many international bars and restaurants, both on the paseo, and in the popular ´Fish Alley´ (Calle Moncayo) which is becoming a more and more popular place for modern gastronomy.

Fuengirola is up and coming again, and was one of the most popular destinations amongst tourists on the Costa del Sol last year. This means property is going up in price, and you should act quickly to find a bargain.

El Castillo

Sohail Castle was built in AD 956 Abd-ar-Rahman III, as a measure to strengthen coastal defences. In 2000 the ruins were renovated, and it is now a popular tourist attraction, and the space around it used for festivals and concerts-such as the recent Simply Red concert, and an annual medieval market.

The area has several modern apartment blocks, which are close to the popular Myramar shopping centre, that offers many popular shops, Restaurants, Cinema, and a Go-karting track.
